Well well, another week of mistchef and mayhem, i guess it was gonna be a given since im here to make hay while the sunshines. Last saturday and Tuesday i went to a town called siches outside of barcelona where they had this big street party every year. IT was REALLLYYY good, soon i shall post pics of carnival, i liked saturday better becuase it had less people, but in saying that it was still crowded like anything, like new years eve at manly becuase we were near the coast and the streets acted like coursos, but yeh.
We were required to dress up in little outfits and costumes i dressed up as a judo karate guy and some of my friends as you can see below dressed as guys, it was pretty fun actually, but it was gay central i guess, though it was a mixed thing mostly homosexuals were there to express their well you know, and thank god i was with some chicas for it weren't for them i'd probably had more advances than i did.
But yeah it was all in good fun, dancing on the street, dancing on the beach, pushing here there and hearing bob sinclare blast on massive speakers, oh and the rubbish was hilarious to see. Ne ways i best be off got more fun to push into my day.

The story so far

Well another 2 weeks of adventure, excitement trials and tribulations. Well firstly i've had my first visitor from santander some of the other international students came to visit barcelona and well to be honest they showed me around and we did the tourist things, which i havn't done actually kind of sad but i figured i have a yeah i got a year to do em. But anyways other than that you can see from the pictures i went to abarcelona game which was so awseome it was like whoa this beats the shit outta A league. But yeah it was so fun and the atmosphere was great and it was just a stupid lowly game, imagine the Liverpool game or even the Real Madrid one that would be like a dream if i can get into them.
But yeah i've got my student residency card, uni is on its swing, i love my place which u can see from the pictures below, and yeah its just so surreal i guess, that i'm gonna call this place home for the next year, which is funny but yeah i love it.
Well why am i posting, what else am i gonna do drinking can only get you so far, and i don't eat much because, i don't know i'm not really that hungry but theres like a supermarket downstairs from my flat and it closes at 3am so when you get the munchies at 2am its still open how cool is that!!
But yeah i don't know its very comforting that my life is where its at, like i dunno, dream i guess still feels a little surreal but yeah walking around now feels more comfortable because i know where to go and its not that hard to get to places here and there. Not to mention that i haven't drove since like what january which is an achievement. Oh one more thing EVERYONE SMOKES here so yea guess thats the only bummer being a non smoker.
But ne ways more situations coming up in the near future i can sense it but yeh till then i guess its hasta luego and take care of yourselves and each other

once upon a time

Well kids im here in cold oh so cold barcelona, and what can i say about it but its just fantastic i cannot describe the beauty of this place its just so different from sydney. Firstly i am safe and i have recently just found a place, its got xbox so yeah i won't get rusty over the year come tournament time at lengs house. Well yeah its been very stressfull i must admit, firstly my spanish, im kind of shy to use it but i eventually come outta the shell and use it here n there but im still not fantastic at it.
trying to find a place was also exhausting as i some places ask for money for just a little shanty, i thought i'd pay a little bit more just to have the little creature comforts. Plus these roomies are sick they're a brazilian and swedish person which is cool. But yeah im very happy i guess now i've got lots of stuff sorted and i love the train system here its so efficient its not funny. its like EVERY 5 minutes or less a train will come, Sydney eat your heart out.
I love walking around these places you just get lost in your own thoughts here you just slowly saunter to places you wouldn't even dream of walking into back at home.
But yeah i guess i'm having the time of my life, living the dream as they say, its been stressful at first and yes i did get a little homesick but i guess now im more comfortable in my own skin and very confident with what i have.
Well take care you guys who read this im gonna go and prob have something to drink.
